ProMax Expansion Bead
ProMax expansion joint/movement joints beads are designed for all external and internal rendering and plastering applications. ProMax beads give a perfect finish to every type of render including monocouche through colour render.
Designed to prevent cracking to render through thermal expansion and compression.
Expansion beads must be used over a structural movement joint once settling is complete. Can be used horizontally as a day joint to disguise a break in the application of render and provide an attractive architectural detail with a gentle shadow.
Description
How to Fix
ProMax Beads can be fixed by either dot or dabs with an adhesive mortar/render or a non-corrosive wall plug and screw. Alternatively, they can be fix using a non-solvent based adhesive sealant similar to CT1 or similar hybrid polymer adhesive sealants. You must not use interior grade solvent based or silicone adhesive sealants.
